This movie was supposed to be released by Sony Pictures but when it didn’t get distribution rights to it, Disney decided to release it themselves. When it came out, it won 11 Oscars including best picture.
#4. Beauty And The Beast (1991)
A live-action remake of Disney’s animated classic about Belle, the beautiful young woman who works in a castle. She’s taken prisoner by the beast after saving his life. He doesn’t turn into a prince until she agrees to marry him. Their love story teaches us all to never give up on what we want so badly.
